EAKER PEREZ LAW Tax Litigation & IRS Defense Office Assistant Full-Time • In-Office • San Diego, CA Compensation commensurate with experience About Us Eaker Pérez Law is a boutique tax litigation firm representing clients before the IRS, FTB, CDTFA, and EDD — locally, nationally, and internationally. We handle serious cases with real stakes and stand shoulder to shoulder with big firms in court. We’re a small, high-performing team that runs on clear systems and invests in people who take their work seriously. The Role We are looking for a motivated, detail-oriented professional — ideally a current student in their final year of undergraduate study or a recent graduate — to join our team full-time. Your main job: keep the office running so our attorneys can focus on cases. This is a client-facing, systems-driven position. You will be the first impression for prospective clients and a key part of how the firm operates day to day. We operate on clear SOPs and expect them to be followed. If you’re someone who takes ownership, asks good questions, and figures things out without hand-holding, you’ll fit right in. Responsibilities • Answer incoming phone calls and conduct new client prescreen calls using established intake scripts • Schedule consultations, follow-up appointments, and internal meetings • Manage firm profiles on LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram — content creation, engagement, and monthly metrics • File and save client notices and correspondence according to established firm systems • Maintain organized, accurate digital records • Support daily office operations as needed Qualifications • Currently enrolled in the final year of an undergraduate program (any major), or recently graduated • Confident, clear, and professional on the phone — client-facing experience is a plus • Highly organized with strong attention to detail • Takes ownership of mistakes and resolves them without being told twice • Proactive and resourceful — you ask good questions and find answers independently • Reliable and punctual; you respect systems and processes you didn’t build • Proficient with social media platforms and Microsoft Office • Bilingual in Spanish and English is a plus, but not required Schedule & Compensation • 40 hours per week; schedule determined based on firm needs and candidate availability • In-office position in San Diego, CA (downtown) • Compensation commensurate with experience How to Apply Apply through Workable and include the following: • Your resume • A cover letter answering: Tell us about a time you made a mistake and what you did to fix it.
