This position is located at the DMV Headquarters in Sacramento.
Are you looking for an opportunity to launch an exciting career in government with the strength of purpose and job security to achieve personal and professional growth? The Outgoing Mail, Office Assistant, will work independently processing and distributing DMV documents and products to internal and external customers. Must be able to regularly lift and transport bulk mail and materials in trays/buckets weighing up to 50 lbs. from work area to postal carts/cages and then push and pull these carts/cages weighing more than 100 lbs. to receiving dock. We are seeking individuals who can establish effective working relationships with management, customers, and co-workers to create a positive team environment. Work schedule hours vary from 5:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Only the most qualified candidates will be interviewed.

Working Conditions
Works in a climate-controlled office environment in a cubicle. Works under artificial lighting, with exposure to basic office equipment.
