Our team plays a critical role in supporting environmentally responsible practices while delivering reliable service to our customers. We are looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Office Assistant to support our growing operations. The Office Assistant is a key support role within our daily operations, working closely with plant personnel, drivers, and management. This position ensures smooth communication, accurate data processing, and efficient administrative support across multiple departments. You will be the first point of contact for incoming calls, assist with route and scale operations, and help maintain the organization and accuracy of essential business records. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, can multitask effectively, and enjoys being part of a team that keeps operations running smoothly. Requirements Answer inbound calls and direct inquiries to the appropriate team members Provide professional and timely customer service Enter and process data related to driver paperwork Close out daily routes, ensuring accuracy and proper documentation Operate scale functions, including weighing trucks in and out Maintain organized filing systems and accurate office records Generate routine operational and administrative reports Assist with dispatch coordination, scheduling, and logistics support Maintain and update customer and operational data in internal systems Communicate effectively with drivers, plant staff, and multiple company locations Provide general administrative support to plant and operations management Qualifications High school diploma or GED required; additional education is a plus 2–3 years of office or administrative experience preferred Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines Comfortable working in a fast-paced, industrial office environment Strong written and verbal communication skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) Ability to quickly learn new systems and processes Reliable, adaptable, and team-oriented Who This Role Is Great For We welcome candidates from all backgrounds, including those returning to the workforce after time away.
