JOB DESCRIPTION:

We seek a part time Office Assistant to work 10 to 1 hours per week (flexible within our normal operating hours and will include weekends), to carry out administrative tasks in our office in support of our Office Manager. Students are welcome to apply as are others seeking part time hours only. This position will include a variety of administrative tasks, depending on office priorities on the days of work, with direct real-time supervision. Some of these tasks could include, as examples of the type of work to be expected:

  • Data entry
  • Filing and organization of company records, both hard copies and electronically
  • Filing and organization of sales and marketing materials, both hard copies and electronically
  • Assisting with word processing and updating company records and forms
  • Ensuring appropriate signage and organization in fitness equipment store and showroom
  • Maintaining organization of office supplies
  • Arranging couriering of packages as needed
  • Light cleaning of office areas as required
  • Helping administratively as needed and requested.

REQUIREMENTS:

You will possess:

  • Extremely strong attention to detail and efficient organization practices
  • An innate ability to focus on the task at hand
  • The ability to work independently while under direct supervision and manage to deadlines with good work ethic.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Administrative experience would be ideal but is not required
  • Good computer skills with the aptitude to quickly learn new software
