Location: Pomona, CA Schedule: Full-Time Pay Rate: $20 – $23/hour Employment Type: Full Time Overview Rooter Hero is seeking a detail-oriented Office Assistant / Payroll Clerk to support our office. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys administrative work, excels at organization, and is eager to grow their skills in payroll and HR functions. You’ll support day-to-day office operations while ensuring accuracy, professionalism, and outstanding internal customer service. Responsibilities Provide general office support including filing, data entry, email management, and answering phones Assist with payroll processing and maintain accurate timekeeping documents Prepare and organize onboarding paperwork; maintain employee personnel files Support HR with benefits enrollment, uniform coordination, and termination documentation Assist with accounts payable/receivable and process expense reports as needed Prepare weekly/monthly administrative and payroll reports Maintain strict confidentiality at all times Provide helpful and friendly internal customer service to staff and technicians Assist management with special projects and administrative tasks Previous administrative or office support experience required Basic knowledge of payroll systems and/or HR processes preferred Strong organizational and multitasking skills with excellent attention to detail Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and data entry Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to handle confidential information professionally Positive, team-oriented attitude and willingness to learn Authorization to work in the U.S. On-the-Job Training Career advancement opportunities
