Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting and assisting visitors and clients
- Perform general administrative tasks such as typing, filing, and data entry
- Answer and direct phone calls in a professional and courteous manner
- Schedule appointments and maintain calendars
- Assist with proofreading documents for accuracy and completeness
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail and packages
- Maintain office supplies and inventory
- Assist with organizing meetings and events
- Pick up parts as required
- Other duties as required
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in an administrative or office assistant role preferred
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in using office software such as Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Familiarity with phone systems and proper phone etiquette
- Attention to detail for proofreading documents
- Class 5 license required
- Quickbooks experience required
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
Note: Experience with truck and trailer shops or parts would be an asset.
Speaking Punjabi would be considered an asset.
Accounting or bookkeeping experience would be considered an asset.
