Description Position Title: Office Cleaner Agency: Housing Authority of Paducah Location: Paducah, Kentucky Status: Part-Time, Non-Exempt Hours: Flexible, not to exceed 22 hours per week Pay Type: Hourly, bi-weekly JOB SUMMARY Performs routine and periodic custodial services to maintain sanitary, safe, and orderly conditions in administrative offices, community rooms, and maintenance facilities operated by the Housing Authority of Paducah. Work involves cleaning multiple sites and requires adherence to established safety, sanitation, and confidentiality standards. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Cleans offices, restrooms, break rooms, kitchens, hallways, community rooms, and annex facilities. Performs dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, trash removal, and periodic deep cleaning. Cleans appliances and fixtures in designated areas. Uses cleaning chemicals and equipment in accordance with MSDS, manufacturer instructions, and safety policies. Maintains adequate supplies of cleaning and restroom materials. Documents cleaning activities and reports deficiencies, hazards, or maintenance needs. Complies with all federal, state, local, and agency safety and sanitation regulations. Operates an agency-assigned vehicle between facilities as required. Maintains confidentiality while working in administrative and resident-facing spaces. Performs related duties as assigned Requirements MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS High school diploma or GED preferred. One year of custodial or cleaning experience preferred. Valid operator’s license. Ability to pass background investigation, drug/alcohol screening, and driving record check. Ability to perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation. Prolonged standing and walking. Repetitive motions including bending, reaching, pushing, and pulling. SUPERVISION Work is performed under general supervision. Completed work is reviewed through periodic inspection for quality and compliance. SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS Must maintain a valid driver’s license. Must be insurable under the Authority’s vehicle insurance policy. Must be bondable under the Authority’s fidelity bond.
