We’re looking for someone who:

  • Has at least 2 years of experience as a Supervisor or Team Leader, ideally in a commercial or hotel cleaning environment.

  • Is physically able to meet the demands of the role.

  • Has strong communication and leadership skills to effectively manage and support a team.
  • Has a keen eye for detail and takes pride in maintaining high standards.
  • Holds or is willing to obtain BICSc qualifications (training provided).
  • Has basic spoken English for effective communication regarding safety and customer interaction.
  • Can work flexibly and is team-orientated, with a proactive approach.
  • Has a professional and presentable appearance, upholding the Atlas brand.

Atlas FM is looking to recruit a Cleaning Team Leader to join our team at a prestigious client site in London. This is an opportunity for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys leading a team, and is passionate about maintaining the highest cleaning standards.
As a Working Team Leader, you will report directly to the Core Cleaning Supervisor and play a key role in delivering high-quality cleaning services while ensuring team members meet BICSc standards and site specifications. You will also be responsible for scheduling work, maintaining health and safety standards, and supporting staff to create a positive working environment.

Key Responsibilities Team Management & Compliance:

  • Supervise a team of 20+ cleaning operatives, ensuring duties are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
  • Implement BICSc cleaning standards and ensure all staff comply with Health & Safety regulations.
  • Conduct monthly safety observations to maintain a safe and compliant working environment.
  • Ensure all cleaning schedules are completed, and quality standards are met.
  • Carry out additional cleaning tasks when required, including covering absences.

Operational Duties:

  • Ensure cleaning cupboards are well-stocked, tidy, and compliant with health and safety standards.
  • Monitor and report any faults with cleaning equipment, ensuring all tools are clean and in working order.
  • Maintain accurate records, including timesheets, quality logs, and site audits.
  • Work with the Core Cleaning Supervisor to identify and implement opportunities for improvement.

Customer Service & Communication:

  • Understand and exceed customer expectations, delivering service with a positive and professional attitude.
  • Foster a collaborative and motivated team environment, holding monthly team meetings.
  • Attend meetings and company activities as required, ensuring alignment with company values.
