JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Office Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support, ensuring efficient office operations, and delivering exceptional customer service. This role requires proficiency in various office software and strong communication skills to work independently. Seasonal work approx from mid April til mid November. 4 to 5 days per week, approx 20 to 30 hours per week. Flexible to set hours that works for you and our office.
About us: Creative Asphalt & Landscape Inc does paving, landscaping & winter maintenance. We are a small family owned business. You would be working with a great crew that works as a team.

SKILLS

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Strong computer skills with the ability to learn new software quickly.
  • Previous clerical experience is preferred, with an emphasis on organizational skills.
  • Excellent typing skills with attention to detail for data entry tasks.
  • Customer service experience is highly desirable.
  • Experience with Quickbooks Online and Quickbooks Workforce is an asset.

Responsibilities
  • Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently.
  • Organize quotes/contracts & information with team leads.
  • Answer multi-line phone systems, directing calls appropriately while maintaining professional phone etiquette.
  • Provide customer support by addressing inquiries and resolving issues in a timely manner.
  • Knowledge with Quickbooks Online is an asset.
  • Weekly electronic time sheets for payroll is accurate
  • Type, proof read and email quotes.
  • Sort, attach PO’s and enter invoices.
  • Maintain, cleaning and organization of the office.
  • Updating, organizing MTO info for each truck & trailer.
  • Other duties will be assigned as required.
