OVERVIEW

Mr. Billiard, a Toronto-based retailer and supplier of premium pool tables and billiard accessories since 1958, is looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Office Clerk to join our small, busy team. This is a hands-on role combining accurate data entry, Microsoft Office work, and friendly in-store customer service and sales. Previous experience in retail sales or office administration is an asset.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proficient in English — excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel comfort with data entry; formulas a plus).
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
  • Proficient in Quickbooks system is a plus
  • Customer-focused with a friendly, professional manner.
  • Previous experience in retail sales, or office administration preferred
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work with minimal supervision.
  • Proficiency in a second language is an asset.

Responsibilities
  • Accurately enter and maintain sales orders, customer records, and inventory data in our systems.
  • Use Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) daily—prepare spreadsheets, reports, and work orders.
  • Greet customers, answer product questions, and assist with in-store sales/upselling.
  • Process POS transactions, returns, and exchanges; reconcile daily sales.
  • Answer phone and email inquiries promptly and professionally.
  • Assist with order preparation, basic shipping paperwork, and coordination with installers/shipping team.
  • Support general office administration tasks (filing, photocopying, scheduling, light bookkeeping support).
  • Maintain an organized and tidy store/office environment.
  • Able to travel nationally and across the border to attend expos and trade shows.
