POSITION OVERVIEW

The Office Coordinator is the heart of the school’s front office operations and the first face and voice people encounter. This role is responsible for creating a professional, friendly, and efficient environment for students, parents, visitors, and staff. From managing phones and visitors to assisting with scheduling and event logistics, this position keeps the day-to-day flow of the campus organized and running smoothly.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Prior experience in office administration, front desk, or customer service roles
  • Friendly and professional communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a dynamic environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, multi-phone line, and general office equipment
  • Dependable, punctual, and able to maintain confidentiality
  • A team player with a helpful attitude and a heart for Christian education

Responsibilities
  • Greet and assist all visitors, parents, and vendors with warmth and professionalism
  • Answer incoming phone calls and direct them to the appropriate person or department
  • Manage calendars for key school leaders, including coordinating appointments and reminders
  • Handle student sign-ins/outs and monitor late arrivals and early dismissals
  • Coordinate lunch deliveries and distribute meals to students
  • Manage ticket sales, event sign-ups, and logistics for school activities and fundraisers
  • Process and track payments for tickets, lunches, and similar items
  • Maintain office equipment, supply inventory, and place orders as needed
  • Provide general administrative support including copies, printing, emails, and announcements
  • Distribute mail and accept deliveries
  • Assist staff and teachers as needed
  • Serve as a point person for visitors and vendors, ensuring secure campus procedures
  • Flexibly assist with other tasks as needed to support the smooth operation of the school
  • Other duties as assigned
