Responsibilities

THE ROLE

As Office / Finance Manager, you’ll report directly to the director and be responsible for ensuring the operational and financial health of the business. You’ll act as a central hub for communication, compliance, and financial planning, supporting project teams and ensuring the business runs efficiently and profitably.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversee all office operations, including supplies, scheduling, document management, and team coordination
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, VAT returns, and monthly management accounts
  • Handle payroll, subcontractor payments, and CIS compliance
  • Maintain and manage financial records and support budgeting and forecasting processes
  • Support HR functions including onboarding, timesheets, and staff records
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, health & safety regulations, and statutory requirements
  • Liaise with accountants, suppliers, clients, and project teams
