JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a versatile and proactive Office Floater to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will provide essential support across various departments, ensuring smooth operations and effective communication. This role requires adaptability, strong organizational skills, attention to details, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. The Office Floater will be responsible for assisting with dispatching duties, helping out in Accounting/AR department, and assisting in the Human Resource/Safety department while fostering a positive work environment.

EXPERIENCE

  • Proven experience in an office environment or similar role is preferred.
  • Proficiency in data entry and computer literacy is essential.
  • Proven experience in paying attention to fine details.
  • Experience providing customer service or support in a professional setting is highly valued.
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities effectively.

Responsibilities
  • Billing invoices to customers/brokers for freight charges
  • Tracking employee vacation, sick pay and unpaid time off
  • Assisting with Human Resource duties that would include (but not limited to) uploading contributions for 401(k), uploading contributions for HSA accounts,, reporting any accidents or incidents from drivers, and managing time clock for each employee
  • Provide customer service and support to drivers, addressing inquiries and resolving issues.
  • Utilizing McLeod Software and Docupower Imaging
  • Support personal assistant duties, including organizing files and preparing documents.
  • Maintain a clean and organized office space.
  • Collaborate with team members across departments to ensure seamless operations.
  • Exhibit strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
