POSITION OVERVIEW

The Office & HR Assistant will manage day-to-day administrative tasks while supporting our HR operations. This includes handling employee benefits, maintaining personnel records, managing QuickBooks entries, and assisting with general office functions. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working across multiple areas of the business and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Required:
  • Minimum 2+ years of administrative or HR experience.
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks (mandatory).
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) or Google Workspace.
  • Preferred:
  • Experience managing employee benefits and insurance plans.
  • Familiarity with HR compliance practices.

Responsibilities
  • Enter and reconcile transactions in QuickBooks (AP/AR, expense tracking, and vendor management).
  • Assist with employee onboarding and offboarding, including adding/removing employees from company health, dental, and vision insurance plans.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential personnel files and HR records.
  • Log and track employee policy violations and other compliance-related documentation.
  • Assist in coordinating company communications, meetings, and administrative tasks.
  • Support payroll preparation by ensuring employee data is up-to-date.
  • Handle general office management responsibilities and provide support to leadership as needed.
