GD Woodworking specialise in manufacturing timber staircases for commercial clients throughout the UK, we are the largest by volume, privately owned staircase manufacturer in the country. Based in Rotherham close to the M1 our large manufacturing facility employs approximately 100 people & we currently have a vacancy for a OFFICE JUNIOR/ ADMINISTRATOR.
The role will be working alongside the sales & factory management teams & provide Business Administration support for these teams. The position would suit a school/college leaver who is seeking a Business Administration role & we would support the successful candidate through a Business Administration Apprenticeship Qualification, if desired.
The successful candidate will provide support to the Sales, Production & Accounts Teams. You will learn the processes involved in production administration, processing sales orders, booking items to be delivered by carrier processing ‘call offs’ & preparing basic manufacturing information. You will undertake all basic office duties such as answering the phone & filing. This role is varied & by learning the basic administration side of the company you will have the opportunity to progress further in a specific area of the business.
The successful candidate must be punctual, a good time keeper & be reliable.
