As the Office Kitchen and In-House Barista, you’ll create an exceptional in-house hospitality experience - serving great barista-crafted coffee, assisting with the catering of staff meals, and supporting meetings and events that keep our LEAPsters fuelled and happy throughout the day. What you'll do You’ll play a key role in keeping LEAP’s Sydney head office running smoothly, supporting the morning breakfast service by setting up catering, restocking our kitchen items, and keeping on top of dishes and clean-up after the morning rush. As the day progresses, you’ll take ownership of the afternoon coffee service and help create a welcoming, well-run office environment, bring a friendly, hands-on attitude to a fast-paced, people-facing role. To make this happen, you will: Create a warm, professional, and welcoming environment for employees and visitors that reflects LEAP’s culture Run day-to-day kitchen and hospitality operations, including setting up and refreshing meeting rooms and shared spaces Prepare quality coffee and present food offerings with care, considering a range of dietary needs Manage dishwashing using commercial and domestic equipment and maintain daily kitchen hygiene standards Coordinate catering for lunches, meetings, events, and Thursday drinks, ensuring a polished presentation Monitor and manage stock across food, beverages, coffee, and office supplies to maintain availability and minimise waste Ensure food safety, workplace health and safety, and equipment maintenance standards are consistently met Maintain high standards of cleanliness, organisation, and safe operation of all kitchen equipment What you'll bring You understand what great hospitality looks and feels like. You’re naturally warm, approachable, and take pride in creating positive moments for the people around you. You enjoy getting to know individual preferences and bringing energy and care to everything you do, plus: Coffee and service know-how – You’re confident preparing quality coffee and supporting barista service when needed, with a strong understanding of what good hospitality looks like in a busy workplace. Quality and standards – You care about the details, from clean and well-organised kitchen spaces to well-presented food, smooth events, and consistently high service standards. Adaptability – You’re happy to roll up your sleeves and move between tasks, whether that’s kitchen support, coffee service, cleaning, or event setup, while keeping a positive, can-do attitude. People skills – You build genuine connections, remember preferences, and help create a welcoming, friendly environment for employees and visitors. Responsible service – You hold a current RSA or have previous experience serving alcohol, and you’re happy for LEAP to support you in obtaining your RSA if needed.
