POSITION OBJECTIVE:

The position of Office Manager for the Bellevue Schools Foundation is for the purpose of managing the operations and administrative support for the Bellevue Schools Foundation.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Positions in this class typically require: stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, finger dexterity, grasping, talking, hearing, seeing, and repetitive motions.
Light Work: Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or negligible amount of force constantly to move objects. If the use of arm and/or leg controls requires exertion of forces greater than that for Sedentary Work and the worker sits most of the time.
Incumbents may be subjected to moving mechanical parts, odors, chemicals, extreme temperatures, inadequate lighting, workspace restrictions, and intense noises.

Responsibilities
  • Functions as an ambassador for Bellevue Schools Foundation (BSF) and the District.
  • Provides first-line exceptional experiences to staff, students, and the community
  • Serves as onsite specialist for human resources functions
  • Oversees and manages business processes including purchasing, inventory, accounting, payroll, expenditures, and other budget related items as directed.
  • Manages communication functions as required for the position
  • Provides administrative support for BSF staff and Board of Trustees as applicable
  • Manages and oversees District building use requests of BSF.
  • Provides planning, operational, and logistical support for BSF events as required.
  • May provide facilities management and coordination with a focus on maintaining building safety, security, and access
  • Serves as a community contact and BSF liaison as required
  • Collaborates and serves as a liaison with a variety of departmental stakeholders regarding BSF operations
  • Manages, prioritizes and problem-solves emergent needs of BSF, District staff and community members as it pertains to this position
  • Builds, establishes, and maintains positive, respectful, and professional relationships with staff and the community to support a safe and civil environment
  • Ensures daily management of the BSF office
  • Manages and implements scheduling needs related to the duties of the position
  • Directs operational functions, procedures and protocols of the required of the District.
  • Engages in process improvement related to the position
  • Exercises and maintains confidentiality as required by FERPA, and other related laws and policies
  • May provide coaching and guided support for other administrative support positions
