Description The Office Manager is responsible for all front office functions within the plant facility. As part of the leadership team, this position works closely with all employees on the production floor and interacts with all levels of management within the plant and in our corporate office. Essential Function(s) of the Position: • Answer incoming telephone calls and assist customers (via phone or in-person) with inquiries • Assist employees with various payroll/benefits inquiries, referring to Human Resources as needed • Track and maintain payroll information and reporting on a weekly basis • Manage the P-card administration ensuring collection of and proper coding of P-card holder receipts • Create work and sales orders from customer PO’s, maintain confirmation process from quotes to PO’s to sales orders, and finally invoicing with accuracy • Ensure applicable blueprints and drawings, as well as furnace certifications accompany invoices • Facilitate the TPC training program administration for the facility, and ensure program objectives are achieved • Oversee general office duties as required, including attending meetings, preparing reports and correspondence, reviewing mail, etc. • Plan and organize employee events (celebration lunches, Holiday parties, summer BBQ’s, etc.) • Work with staffing agencies to review candidates, set up interviews, and track hours for temporary employees • Other duties as required or assigned Requirements Education, Experience and Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED required 3-5+ years of experience in office management/administration required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Knowledge of safety standards and OSHA guidelines Proficient in Microsoft Office including: Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Knowledge of production/product development in a manufacturing facility Effective communication skills,both written and verbal High level of integrity, ability to handle confidential information Strong organizational skills, with an ability to manage multiple priorities
