About the Role

The Office Manager will be responsible for planning, organising and coordinating the company's administrative operations to ensure efficient office systems and business support functions. The successful applicant will work closely with management and operational staff to maintain effective office procedures and support business activities.


Key Responsibilities

• Plan, organise and coordinate the daily administrative operations of the office.

• Develop, implement and review office administrative systems, procedures and workflows to improve efficiency.

• Maintain company records, databases, filing systems and confidential business documents.

• Coordinate office resources, equipment, supplies and service providers.

• Supervise and provide guidance to administrative support staff, allocating workloads and monitoring performance.

• Prepare business correspondence, reports, operational documents and management information.

• Coordinate payroll documentation, employee records and administrative support for recruitment and onboarding processes.

• Monitor office expenditure and assist with budgeting, purchasing and invoice processing.

• Liaise with customers, suppliers, contractors and external service providers regarding administrative matters.

• Ensure compliance with company policies, transport industry regulations and workplace procedures.

• Coordinate meetings, appointments and internal communications.

• Identify opportunities to improve administrative processes and implement effective office management practices.

Essential Requirements

• Tertiary qualification completed in Australia or Overseas

• At least One years of relevant full-time work experience in an office management or administrative management role.

• Excellent organisational and time management skills.

• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.

• High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office and office management software.

• Ability to prioritise multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced transport environment.

• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Desirable

• Previous experience within the transport, logistics or freight industry.

• Experience using transport management or fleet administration systems.

• Knowledge of payroll, invoicing and accounting software such as Xero or MYOB.
