Description

Company: Eagle Custom Builders
Location: Sauk City, WI
Job Type: Part-time (20-30 hours per week)
Compensation: Competitive and based on experience and skills, with a significant opportunity for growth.
About Eagle Custom Builders
At Eagle Custom Builders, we are a small but rapidly growing company focused on providing high-quality residential and light commercial remodeling and additions to the Sauk City community. We are a small team that values quality craftsmanship and a positive, safe work environment. We’re looking for a highly motivated individual to join us as a key player and help us build the future of our business.
The Opportunity
This is an essential role where you will be the central hub of our administrative and estimating operations. You will directly support the company owner by managing a wide range of tasks, freeing up more time for project oversight and sales. This position offers a unique chance to get in on the ground floor, influence how our business operates, and grow your career as the company expands. For the right candidate, this role could evolve into a full-time position with more specialized responsibilities in the future.
Key Responsibilities

Your day-to-day work will be dynamic and will evolve as we grow. However, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Administrative Management: Serving as the first point of contact for clients, managing project documents, handling billing and invoicing, and scheduling.
  • Estimating Assistance: You will work directly with the company owner to learn and assist in the estimating process. You will help by soliciting bids from subcontractors, gathering material quotes, and preparing proposals. We will start by having you assist in the production of 25% of our estimates, with the goal of you being able to produce complete estimates for all residential projects within one year.

What We’re Looking For

  • A “Get-It-Done” Attitude: We need someone who is a self-starter and can take a task and run with it. While the company owner is always available for support and guidance, we value a person who can solve problems and figure things out.
  • Adaptability & Resilience: Our work can be high-paced and high-stress at times. The ability to remain calm, professional, and composed while dealing with internal team members, clients, and subcontractors is crucial.
  • Willingness to Learn: We are looking for someone who is eager to learn the ins and outs of the construction business, from administrative tasks to the details of the estimating process.
  • Organizational Skills: Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks at once are essential.
  • Tech Savvy: Familiarity with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, etc.) and a willingness to work with our AI assistant program is required.

Why Join Our Team?
This is an opportunity to be a vital part of a small, growing business. You won’t be just a number; you’ll be a key member of our team, and your work will have a direct impact on our success. We offer a competitive hourly wage based on your skills and experience, with a clear path to increased responsibility and compensation as we grow together.
To Apply: Please send your resume and a brief cover letter explaining why you would be a great fit for this position to eric@eaglecustom.us. We look forward to hearing from you.
