Compensation (Salary): $65,000 - $80,000 / year Depending on experience and qualifications Job Description Summary: The Office Manager is responsible for overseeing daily and monthly accounting operations for the dealership while managing office staff and ensuring accurate financial reporting. This role partners closely with the Controller to maintain accounting integrity, support end-of-month close, and provide leadership to the office team. Duties and Responsibilities: Partner with the Controller to prepare and submit monthly financial statements and supporting schedules Oversee daily accounting operations including bank postings, journal entries, reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance Lead and manage office staff including accounting clerks, receptionists, and cashier personnel Conduct daily asset meeting follow-ups and schedule reconciliations Perform SOCs reconciliation and other accounting operations as assigned Review and approve accounting adjustments related to inventory, cost of sales, and expenses Manage month-end close responsibilities including accruals, schedules, reconciliations, and posting of deals Track and reconcile fixed assets, depreciation, and prepaid expenses monthly Analyze expense trends and provide reporting to leadership Support insurance and workers’ compensation claim processing Assist with internal and external audit preparation and documentation Provide occasional back-up support for reception or cashiering as needed Qualifications Must have prior experience as an Office Manager or senior accounting lead in an automotive dealership Strong understanding of dealership accounting processes, financial statements, and month-end close Hands-on experience with general ledger management, journal entries, reconciliations, and close-out processes Proven ability to lead office staff and delegate workflow effectively Experience with dealership management systems (CDK preferred; Reynolds & Reynolds or Dealertrack a plus) Must be authorized to work in the USA Must pass pre-employment screenings including background check, MVR, drug test, and possess a valid driver’s license Preferred Qualifications: BMW or public automotive franchise experience Additional Information Compensation (Salary): $65,000 - $80,000 / year Depending on experience and qualifications Schedule: FULL TIME Monday - Friday Weekends Off Flexibility required to stay late or work occasional weekends during month-end close.​​​​​​​ Perks & Benefits: Medical, Dental & Vision Insurance 401(k) with Company Match Paid Time Off that Grows with You Sundays Always Off Closed on Thanksgiving & Christmas Employee Pricing on Purchases & Leases Free & Discounted Gym Membership Options Exclusive Travel Deals on Hotels, Rentals & Airfare Career Growth in a Fortune 500 Company All your information will be kept confidential in accordance with EEO guidelines
