JOB SUMMARY

Architectural Firm located in Dundarave, West Vancouver seeking Office Manager/Bookkeeper to oversee daily office operations and manage all aspects of the bookkeeping tasks on a part time basis (approx. 30 hours/week). Must be self motivated with great public relation skills and highly organized.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven experience in office management with a strong bookkeeping background.
  • Good organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Must be proficient in Excel, working with spreadsheets and formulas.
  • Strong payroll processing, and MS Word / Adobe Acrobat experience.
  • Good understanding of administrating Extended Health Benefits.
  • Ability to manage schedules efficiently and handle clerical duties as needed.
  • Proficient in filing systems and maintaining an organized workspace.

  • Oversee daily office operations, ordering supplies, organizing courier service.
  • Manage schedules including calendar management.
  • Payroll, including T4’s, ROE’s, Gov’t Deductions, WorkSafeBC.
  • Sage Accounting.
  • Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable.
  • Monthly Billing, using Excel Spreadsheets.
  • Bank Reconciliation, Year End Financial Statements.
  • Assist with human resources functions, including recruitment and onboarding of new employees.
  • Manage multi-line phone systems, greet clients, process mail.
  • Process Monthly Expenses.
