JOB DESCRIPTION:

· Management and execution of complex, business-critical tasks, including creative work and professional analyses;
· Providing advisory and analytical support to the director of representative office in the UK, director of CNTB, and senior management;
· Organizing meetings, events, and conferences;
· Managing correspondence and preparing letters, presentations, and reports;
· Taking part in activities such as roadshows, fairs, workshops, conferences, events, media activities;
· Working and executing projects, maintaining the relations with the relevant industry players, taking part in the activities CNTB is involved in – both in the UK and in Croatia.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE POSITION:

  • Completed undergraduate and graduate university studies, or integrated undergraduate and graduate university studies, or specialized graduate professional studies;
  • At least four years of work experience in tourism positions corresponding to the level of education required as mentioned in point 1;
  • Proficiency in one foreign language and knowledge of an additional foreign language;
  • Proficiency in working with personal computers.
    In accordance with Article 12 of the Regulation on Special Requirements for Employees in Tourist Boards (NN 13/22).

DESIRABLE SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:

  • Educational background in the fields of social sciences or humanities;
  • 5 or more years of work experience in office management or coordinating office operations;
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills;
  • Excellent knowledge of English and good knowledge of Croatian, both spoken and written;
  • Teamwork orientation;
  • Self-initiative and flexibility;
  • Familiarity with legal regulations related to the operations and financing of tourist boards and non-profit organizations;
  • Excellent knowledge about Croatia and the tourism industry in Croatia
  • Excellent proficiency in office computer systems and applications (e.g., MS Windows, MS Office, etc.).
    The selected candidate must not have any conflict of interest related to the job for which they are applying from the day the employment contract is signed.
