QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES

The Office Manager must comply with minimum standards, as set forth by company policies in addition to state, licensing and government regulations.

Minimum qualifications, knowledge skills and attributes include:

  • Possess or be in the process of obtaining a Bachelor’s Degree (in a child related field is a plus), CDA or equivalent Child Care or Management experience.
  • Satisfy the mandatory physical and background checks as required by the State and company regulations.
  • 1-2 years’ of Experience working with young children, preferably in a school setting
  • Minimum 1 year in a supervisory position in business administration or educational field
  • Demonstrate excellent organizational and leadership skills
  • Be enthusiastic and adaptable with excellent problem-solving skills
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Possess skills, attributes and characteristics conducive to and suitable for appropriately dealing with children, parents, coworkers, clients and management.
  • Work well under pressure
  • Excellent computer skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality with sensitive student and staff information
Responsibilities

The Office Manager will assist in managing the day-to-day operations of the center while demonstrating exceptional professional conduct and consideration for the educational development, safety and welfare of the children and staff.

Responsibilities include:

  • Staffing, supervising and scheduling
  • Heavy phones, emails and the ability to multi-task
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Assisting with touring and enrollment at the school
  • Works to ensure state compliance and record keeping as well as NCS curriculum, policies and procedures
  • Assisting in managing payroll
  • Assist in conducting staff meetings
  • Assisting in snack and lunch distribution as needed
  • Answering phones and reception as needed
  • Leading classroom instruction
  • Assist in training new staff
  • Assisting and staff support as needed
  • Other tasks as assigned
