Role Overview The Office Manager ensures the smooth, efficient, and welcoming operation of the office environment. This role combines organizational excellence, practical problem-solving, and hospitality to create a workspace that supports productivity, comfort, and company culture. The Office Manager is the go-to person for maintaining the physical space, managing vendors and contractors, and overseeing day-to-day operational needs. Schedule Mondays 9am to 3pm. Flexible second day or break up hours throughout the week. Likely 10-12 hours per week. Key Responsibilities ● Water Plants ● Order lunches ● Dishes ● General tidy ● Basic tech ● Simplifying/reducing storage ● Organizing cabinets and storage closets ● Keep inventory up to date ● Repot plants ● Change lightbulbs ● Purchase snacks and general office supply needs ● Communicate with landlord ● Work with contractors on office updates. (From initial call, estimates, approval, and on site help during project) ● Supervise any contractual work (electrician, hvac, handymen, foojee, Jeanette, cleaning service) ● Make magic happen (significant birthday, holiday, goodbye party) ● Deposit checks ● Process mail ● Collect mail from P.O. Box ● File expenses ● File mileage if any ● Communicate and aid with cleaning service ● Pay invoices ● Ring doorbell app on phone for visitors and packages ● Unlock doors for people as needed with open app
