Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the college and ensure smooth campus operations.
  • Coordinate and support different departments, including Student Services, Training and Assessment, Administration and Marketing.
  • Work closely with trainers and assessors to coordinate schedules, resources, classrooms and day-to-day training requirements.
  • Supervise and support administrative and student services staff.
  • Monitor student enquiries, enrolments, attendance, progression and general student support matters.
  • Coordinate communication between students, trainers, administration and management.
  • Assist with staff coordination, rosters, meetings and operational planning.
  • Support the management team with the implementation of college policies and procedures.
  • Assist with compliance, documentation and maintaining accurate college records.
  • Work with the marketing team to coordinate promotional activities, campaigns and college events.
  • Assist with student recruitment and ensure enquiries are followed up appropriately.
  • Identify operational issues and work with relevant departments to resolve them efficiently.
  • Maintain a professional, welcoming and positive environment for students, staff and visitors.
  • Assist management with reporting, planning and other operational tasks as required.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Previous experience in office management, administration or operations, preferably within the education, training or RTO sector.
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to coordinate multiple departments and priorities at the same time.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience working with staff, students and external stakeholders.
  • The ability to work independently while also being a strong team player.
  • A professional, positive and approachable attitude.
  • Good computer skills and confidence using Microsoft Office and other administrative systems.
  • A strong understanding of confidentiality and professional standards.
