Engineering Design Lab (EDL) is a Toronto-based engineering consulting firm specializing in electric mobility, marine systems, and custom scientific equipment. We work with clients across North America and develop in-house technologies that are practical, efficient, and future-focused.

JOB OVERVIEW

We are looking for a detail-oriented Office Manager to support our team at our Toronto office (in-person only, no remote work). The role has a strong focus on bookkeeping and HR support, along with general office administration. You’ll be an essential part of keeping our operations organized and efficient.
This position requires on-site presence during regular business hours. Days and times are flexible within the 8–16 hours/week range, but you must be available to work at the office in downtown Toronto.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 2+ years of experience in office administration or similar role
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and accounting tools (QuickBooks or similar)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality
  • Must be able to work on-site in Toronto (remote work is not available for this role)
