Description

Hawaii Technology Academy Public Charter School seeks a half-time School Office Manager (Distance Campus) to assist with the operation of our Distance Learning Campus. Must reside on the island of O’ahu.

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Managing all attendance-related inquiries and requests
  • Assisting with school-wide protocols and systems
  • Ordering, purchasing, and picking up campus supplies as needed
  • In-person support on the Waipahu Campus at the beginning and ending of each semester for supply pick-up and drop-off, and as needed
  • Maintain accurate records of books and supplies inventories
  • Assisting with the booking of community events and venues for quarterly community events on O’ahu, Maui, Hawai’i Island, and Kaua’i
  • Managing all site deliveries, mail, materials, and supplies
  • Responding to parent and community inquiries
  • Initiating and returning phone calls and digital communication
  • Basic clerical and fiscal operations for the campus
  • Assisting with the withdrawal process and enrollment inquiries
  • Assisting with the communication with other office managers regarding the computer loan program for Distance Learning students, as needed
  • Collaborating with the Communications and Marketing Director and Campus Director to publicize campus events
  • Collaborating with the Oahu, Maui, Kona, and Kauai School Office Managers
  • Other duties as assigned by the Campus Director.

Hours: 15-20 hours per week, including weekly meetings with the campus director and other support staff. This position follows the DOE school year schedule (vacations, holidays, and summers off).
Qualifications: High School Diploma. Valid diver’s license. Experience working with children or in a school environment. Ideal candidates will possess superior organizational, written, technological, and oral communication skills and the ability to lift up to thirty pounds and perform basic manual labor.
Pay: Salary commensurate with experience and correlated with the appropriate HGEA salary schedule and bargaining unit BU 03 with a salary range of between $19- 25 per hour.
