Location: Primarily home-based, with visits required to our office based in Crowborough
Start Date: November 2025 (handover period)
Contract: Fixed Term, 12 months (possible role may become permanent).

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) – laptop provided
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • Previous office/administration experience preferred (knowledge of the construction/trades sector beneficial)
  • Ability to work independently with accuracy and attention to detail

ROLE OVERVIEW

We are seeking an organised and proactive Office Manager to cover maternity leave. The role is mainly home-based and includes full handover training.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Answering calls and emails, acting as the first point of contact
  • Organising engineers’ diaries and scheduling jobs
  • Liaising with clients and suppliers
  • Ordering materials and tracking deliveries
  • Preparing and sending invoices, monitoring payments, and chasing debtors
  • Maintaining records and compliance documentation
  • Providing general administrative support to directors and the team
