Description Shive-Hattery’s Valparaiso office has an immediate opportunity for an Office Manager with 3+ years of experience managing the day to day administration duties in architecture and engineering consulting environment. Requirements: Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and enthusiastic 3+ years supervisory or related experience; minimum associate degree Comfortable in fast-paced, multitasking environments Being in the office is expected Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel Proficiency with Microsoft Teams, Bluebeam, Deltek Vantagepoint, and Newforma preferred Notary Public certification a plus Requirements Responsibilities: Coordinate and lead the administrative aspects of the office to ensure that the office is working efficiently Actively participate as a member of the Office Management Team, offering insights into policies that enhance office culture and foster social activities. Work with Managing Director to help facilitate and track local sponsorships, contributions and market-specific initiatives Oversees management of building and serves as primary contact for Building Landlord and Property Manager to address and coordinate repairs and maintenance needs. Serve as primary liaison with Corporate and other Shive offices to facilitate effective communication, coordination and ensuring streamlined operations Manage scheduling and coordination of presentations with Supplier Product Representatives as well as helping coordinate itinerary's for visiting employees. Assist with coordination, development, design, production and distribution of proposals, qualification document package and marketing materials Generally, requires a minimum of 5 years supervisory experience or related experience and may have a bachelor’s degree Why Shive-Hattery?
