Office Manager – Construction Company Location: Hazlet, NJ (1 day/week in Somerville, NJ) Type: Full-Time Industry: Commercial Construction
Stone Creek Construction Group is seeking a highly organized, proactive Office Manager to join our team. This dynamic role requires strong QuickBooks Online proficiency and experience in marketing and business development support. You’ll play a critical role in keeping our operations running smoothly while helping us grow. Key Responsibilities: Accounting & Bookkeeping Support (Approx. 50%)

EXPERIENCE

  • Proven experience in office management or a similar administrative role is preferred.
  • Strong computer literacy skills with proficiency in Microsoft applications.
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain professionalism through effective phone systems usage and communication practices.
  • Experience in data entry with a focus on accuracy and detail-oriented work.
Responsibilities
  • Support Accounting Manager with daily bookkeeping tasks in QuickBooks Online
  • Assist with accounts payable/receivable, reconciliations, and expense tracking
  • Help manage vendor documentation and project cost coding Marketing & Business Development Support (Approx. 50%)
  • Coordinate and send marketing emails and proposals on behalf of company partners * Manage and update CRM to track project leads, opportunities, and client interactions
  • Assist in the preparation of presentations, social media content, and marketing materials * Research and identify new business opportunities and assist in client follow-ups
  • Support proposal and bid preparation with company information and documentation Qualifications:
  • 5+ years experience in a similar office management or marketing support role
  • QuickBooks Online experience is required
  • Strong written communication and organizational skills
  • Comfortable using CRM platforms and marketing tools (e.g., HubSpot, Mailchimp, Canva) * Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines across teams
  • Construction industry experience a plus, but not required Schedule & Location: Based primarily in our Hazlet, NJ office * One day per week required at our Somerville, NJ office
