Description
Some people run offices. Others create experiences. At Tax Traders, we’re looking for that rare kind of person who notices the details that make people feel genuinely welcome, supported, and celebrated. Whether it’s a perfectly stocked kitchen, a thoughtfully planned event, or a small moment that makes someone’s day better. This role sits at the heart of our business. You’ll be the quiet force that keeps everything running smoothly while making our workplace feel warm, organised, and unmistakably Tax Traders. The Role Your purpose is simple, but powerful: to create an organised, high-functioning, and welcoming workplace so our people can do their best work. You’ll own the day-to-day operations of the office, coordinate suppliers and facilities, bring our internal events and rituals to life, and help drive our sustainability initiatives. If you love structure and creativity and get real satisfaction from seeing people feel looked after, you’ll thrive here. What You’ll Be Doing Office Operations & Supplies Manage all office ordering and restockingfrom coffee and fruit to stationery and equipment. Maintain standing supplier relationships, track usage, and optimise cost, quality, and sustainability. Ensure the office is always well-stocked, tidy, and ready for the day ahead. Facilities & Space Coordinate repairs, maintenance, cleaners, plant suppliers, and building matters. Keep spaces organised, labelled, and intuitive so everything is easy to find. Support office improvements, layout changes, and occasional moves. Delight in the details: boardrooms reset, kitchen maintained, first aid kits stocked. Events & Culture Own internal events end-to-end i.e. food, gifts, cards, décor, games, and comms. Manage birthdays, welcomes, celebrations, Tribe Time Aka team meeting rituals, and key moments. Lead seasonal setups (Christmas, Easter) and support our annual Tax Camp Aka team retreat. Make sure our people feel seen, appreciated, and celebrated. Sustainability Drive everyday environmental practices and recycling processes. Support B Corp certification through evidence gathering, tracking, and continuous improvement. Attend and support sustainability-focused events and initiatives. Marketing & Brand Support Manage internal merchandise and collateral. Prepare materials for events and campaigns. Capture and organise internal photos in line with brand guidelines. About You You’re naturally organised, deeply thoughtful, and quietly confident. You take pride in follow-through, enjoy being hands-on, and have a knack for making spaces and moments feel just right. You’ll bring: Proven experience in office coordination, facilities, or vendor management. Event planning experience from idea to execution. Exceptional organisation, attention to detail, and communication skills. Confidence using spreadsheets, task boards, and team tools like Slack. A practical, can-do approach, happy to restock, move light items, and reset spaces. Bonus points if you have: Sustainability or B Corp experience. Hospitality, hosting, or people-focused roles in your background. Design sensibility (Canva or Adobe). Social media or content experience. What Success Looks Like The office runs seamlessly: no stockouts, no chaos. Spaces are clean, organised, and easy to use. Events run smoothly and people genuinely enjoy them. The team feels cared for, celebrated, and supported. Sustainability processes are consistent and well-documented. Practical Stuff Predominantly onsite role with some early starts/late finishes for events. Light manual handling involved. Offsite errands required, full driver’s licence and own transport essential. Why Tax Traders? We’re a values-driven business that cares deeply about our people, our impact, and how we show up for each other. This is a role where your work will be noticed, felt, and genuinely appreciated, every single day. If you’re someone who gets how to create meaningful moments at work, we’d love to hear from you.
