POSITION SUMMARY:
This position will report to the Executive Director and will be responsible for the relationship between HSLS, staff and tenants. The Office/ Tenants Relations manager will mediate all staff and tenant concerns. In order to maintain and improve staff and tenant relations the OMTR Manager will perform many different duties such as participating in recruitment and hiring, communicating policies, exit interviews, attending staff meetings, liaison between HSLS and Tenants which will involve responding to disputes and mediation.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Supervisory Experience.
Knowledge of Employment Standards and Laws.
Knowledge of Human Rights.
Knowledge of legislation pertaining to Landlord/Tenancy Act BC; Previous experience working in building management would be an asset; Knowledge of not-for-profit organizations.
PROFESSIONAL SKILLS:
Advanced Technical Skills - Word, Excel and SharePoint is a requirement.
Demonstrated experience in Human Resources management particularly in employee relations; Knowledge of HR policies involving employee relations.
Demonstrated experience in Tenant Relations and handling disputes.
ABILITIES
