JOB SUMMARY

We’re looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Office Manager to help keep our operations running smoothly at Truway Machinery. This is a hands-on role that involves everything from handling customer inquiries to organizing shop paperwork, quotes, and drawings. The right candidate is someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, communicates well with clients and staff, and can juggle multiple priorities with ease.

Responsibilities
  • Manage daily office operations including scheduling, filing, and coordinating with shop floor staff.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for clients—by phone, email, or in person—with a friendly and professional approach.
  • Maintain organized records of quotes, purchase orders, and customer requests.
  • Support the team by proofreading job details, tracking parts or materials, and preparing basic documentation.
  • Communicate with vendors, customers, and field crew to ensure smooth workflows.
  • Use basic office and business software to manage data, emails, and customer/job info.
  • Assist with light bookkeeping or invoicing tasks, with support as needed.
  • Help manage supply inventory and place orders for office or shop needs.
