SUMMARY:

Are you a dynamic, multi-talented professional with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently? The University of Alaska Land Management Office (UALM) is looking for a highly motivated individual to join our team.
As our Office Manager, your project management skills are critical to the success of our department, supporting our mission through multi-faceted projects and land records management. The successful candidate will provide administrative support to LM staff to include event planning, travel, procurement duties, and front desk responsibilities.
The work you do will support UALM’s primary role in furthering the University of Alaska’s educational mission and prudently managing land dedicated to educational purposes. Through our work, the UA Scholars Program supports the educational advancements of thousands of Alaskan students.
To thrive in this role, you will need to have a working knowledge of computer programs and the ability to apply that knowledge to marketing, social media, and administrative support. You must be able to interpret and synthesize information and create comprehensive reports and presentations. Having demonstrated time and project management skills. With the ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing. The ability to work successfully as a member of a team and provide excellent customer service to our internal and external customers. A bachelor’s degree is preferred but not required.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Two years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
