Responsibilities

ROLE:

We are looking for a motivated and organised working student to join us as an Office Manager in Budapest, managing our largest office. In this role, you will work 20 hours per week, ensuring our office is an engaging place where employees want to come to do their best work.
As a people champion, you’ll play a key role in enhancing the employee experience by maintaining a positive and productive environment. You’ll take ownership of day-to-day office operations, bring in fresh ideas to improve our workplace, and ensure everything runs smoothly so our team can thrive.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Employee Engagement: Drive initiatives to foster a positive and productive work environment, ensuring that employees in the Budapest office feel connected and valued.
  • Vendor Management: Act as the single point of contact for our vendors (cleaning staff, plant care, post office, stationery).
  • Internal Communication: Lead the development of clear and consistent communication to keep employees informed and aligned. (We have weekly updates).
  • Event Organisation: From office opening parties to summer picnics to biweekly All Hands meetings, you’ll bring ideas and spark. (We frequently organize meetups as well!).
  • Managing Employee Queries: Respond to employee questions and make adjustments based on their requests.
  • Visitor Management: Ensure our visitors have a great experience and follow compliance procedures.
  • Contribution to People Projects: As we’ve just moved into our brand-new office space, you’ll have the chance to implement new initiatives. If you’re interested, we’re happy to let you learn about other people-related processes as well.
