Description
[What the role is] The successful applicant will play a vital role in advancing student growth and graduate profile competency building through arts development. The role is deeply student-focused—working with secondary schools, industry collaborators, and community stakeholders to design, deliver, and host arts programmes that nurture creativity, leadership, and holistic development. The applicant will also need to contribute to the development and delivery of outreach programmes to secondary schools, CCA advisership, and polytechnic student development goals. The incumbent will manage external and campus client relations for strategic arts and cultural events, serving as the primary liaison between the Arts Development Team of Republic Polytechnic and its partners. [What you will be working on] • Support outreach initiatives, workshops, and community engagement activities, while gathering client feedback to improve service delivery. • Contribute to student development through pastoral care of Arts CCAs, asset management, and collaboration with creative faculties to enhance authentic learning. • Development strong partnerships with industry, education stakeholders, and ministries. • Act as the main point of contact for hire clients, handling enquiries, site visits, contracts, and ongoing communications. • Coordinate event production requirements including technical, logistical, and front-of-house operations, ensuring smooth delivery and compliance with RP standards. • Manage administrative duties such as documentation, billing, and adherence to SOPs and creation of new ones, health and safety regulations, and venue policies. [What we are looking for] • Diploma or equivalent in Arts Management, Event Management, Hospitality, or related field. • At least 5 years’ relevant experience in venue management, client servicing, or production coordination, preferably in the performing arts or events sector. • Strong interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills with a client-centric approach. • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities; familiarity with technical production and event logistics is an advantage. • Ability to work independently in a dynamic environment, with flexibility for evenings and weekends as required. • Ability to produce visuals with Canva and/or Adobe publishing software will be an advantage. http://jobs.careers.gov.sg The Singapore Public Service plays a key role in the economic growth, progress and stability of Singapore by formulating and implementing government policies, as well as providing key public services.
