What you’ll do: Working closely with the administrative team, you will be responsible for the following:

Reporting to the Office Manager, the successful candidate will:

  • Come to work with a positive, professional approach and attitude;
  • Be familiar with and adhere to Meadow Lake Co-op policies and procedures;
  • Prepare and distribute reports as required for the departmental manager;
  • Provide positive consumer experience to all customers;
  • Assist with answering phones, taking payments and other customer requests at the front counter as needed;
  • Back-up reception by completing daily department cash-ups and other reception duties when they are away;
  • Participate in maintaining location image and housekeeping standards;
  • Scan and electronically organize member files;
  • Fill the main photo copier with paper;
  • Gather information requested for board meetings;
  • Process T4A’s and equity statements;
  • Assist Team Members and Leaders with uniforms;
  • Clerical duties and projects as requested;
  • Other duties as assigned.

WHO YOU ARE:

You are looking for a career in Administration and:

  • Grade 12 diploma or equivalent GED;
  • You have excellent customer service skills, strong communication and interpersonal skills;
  • You are highly motivated and willing to be trained;
  • You are proficient with Microsoft Office Programs such as Excel, Word and Outlook;
  • You’re honest and trustworthy, are results-oriented and strive to be the best in what you do;
  • You believe in maintaining a respectful and honest work place;
  • Valid class 5 license and a clean drivers abstract may be required.
