Description Summary: This position is responsible for assembling and mailing outgoing policies and forms; distributing incoming, outgoing, and interoffice mail; and assisting other departments as needed. Functions: Pick up daily incoming mail from the U.S. Post Office; open, sort, and distribute mail. Assist with daily work policy mailings. Assemble and mail insurance policies and forms. Gather, prepare, and post daily outgoing mail, transport mail to the U.S. Post Office and work with mail provider. Assist in addressing and mailing birthday and other greeting cards to business partners, as needed. Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of in-house mailing equipment. Assist with typing non-automated lines of business policies, as needed. Use onscreen menus to run daily Printer Operations, as needed. Separate and distribute printed reports to appropriate staff, as needed. Perform Daily Work: Policy Separation for mailing, as needed. Notify the IT Department in the event of program, operations, or hardware difficulties. Assist programming staff with overlays, as needed. Cover the front desk for breaks, as needed. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor. Requirements High School or equivalent education required. Ability to pivot job duties and responsibilities based on the company’s needs required. Ability to use company computer systems and other office equipment required. Pleasant personality. Excellent communication skills required. Ability to interact well with people required. Ability to perform under pressure required. Ability to perform repetitive work with speed and accuracy required. Ability to operate the company’s mailing equipment effectively and efficiently required. Ability to lift and transport approximately 25 pounds required. Valid Pennsylvania driver's license, or the ability to obtain a valid Pennsylvania driver's license within one hundred and eighty days of beginning employment required. Ability to work flexible hours, travel to all organization offices (including in Pennsylvania, Ohio, and South Dakota) and travel to vendor work sites required. Ability to work in an office environment with moderate noise level, remain in a stationary position and operate a computer a majority of the time required. Ability to move throughout the office to access work materials and to move work materials weighing up to ten pounds daily required. Ability to perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation required.
