Job Description Office Services Specialist 2+ Month (Temp to perm) San Francisco, CA (onsite) M-F 8:00AM-5:00PM Qualifications Senior On-Site Services Specialist needed in a legal office environment to support document production, mail services, shipping/receiving, and office operations. The role requires operating high-volume copy equipment, managing sensitive legal documents, and providing professional support to executive-level staff. Responsibilities Operate high-volume copiers and perform binding, finishing, scanning, OCR, file conversion, and formatting tasks Perform daily equipment checks, clear paper jams, and report technical issues; assist with basic copier maintenance and repairs Handle highly sensitive and confidential legal documents with strong attention to quality and deadlines Sort, distribute, and process incoming/outgoing mail, faxes, and office supplies; apply postage as required Ship and receive materials, verify packing slips, and maintain inventory records and supply logs Maintain daily meter readings, billing logs, service logs, and management reports Respond to customer service calls, coordinate service requests, and answer questions regarding job status Perform filing, purging, archiving, scanning, and document management tasks Manage electronic files including FTP transfers, file naming, table of contents (TOC) creation, and formatting for printing or Excel Deliver completed jobs to designated locations within or outside the site and travel between buildings if needed Maintain cleanliness and organization of copier and work areas Set up meeting or conference rooms and assist with building support tasks such as occupant moves, light maintenance, and occasional cleaning Use bindery and finishing equipment including shrink-wrap machines, paper cutters, hole drills, joggers, tape machines, stackers, staplers, and scales Provide professional support to legal secretaries, paralegals, associates, project managers, and partners Assist with coordination of projects completed off-site when required Work under tight deadlines and perform occasional overtime or off-hour emergency support if needed Additional Information lifting or moving items weighing up to 50-55 lbs.
