Description
Supervises staff within a physician's office under the direction of the Practice Manager. Ensures that office is properly staffed and that all functions are consistently performed in a timely fashion while ensuring quality patient care and satisfaction. Resolves problems, answers questions, supplies and/or obtains information for staff, patients and TPI administration. Responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations of a Physician Practice. Responsibilities include ensuring that the scheduling, patient registration/reception, clinical care, and patient check-out/discharge processes are completed in a professional manner in accordance with established protocol. This position is also responsible for office billing and collections, ensure compliance with cash handling policies/procedures, purchasing supplies, and managing expenses. Responsibility for practice operations, including employee scheduling and development, physician scheduling, maintenance of medical records and files, updates electronic medical records as appropriate, patient satisfaction and quality management are significant aspects of the work. Education High School Diploma or Equivalent Required Associate's Degree Preferred Bachelor's Degree Preferred or Combination of relevant education and experience may be considered in lieu of degree Required Experience 2 years experience in a physician's office Required 1 year experience in a supervisory role Preferred Licenses
