This position is responsible for coordinating the support activities within a department. The incumbent assists with financial planning, goal setting, policy and procedures planning and implementation. Also, the incumbent oversees the usage and maintenance of departmental resources. This position is not responsible for providing direct patient care.

QUALIFICATIONS

Qualifications Required

  • Two years of experience coordinating a large and complex office environment, or equivalency.
  • Previous experience with and working knowledge of budgeting, payroll, purchasing, and personnel regulations.
  • A commitment to provide excellent customer service.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinates the daily operations of the office, including payroll and the ordering of supplies.
  • Handles confidential information such as files, records, and correspondence (composing of letters and memos).
  • Coordinates meetings and appointments.
  • Acts as a liaison between the department and other offices.
  • Prepares special reports as needed.
  • Reviews and reconciles department financial statements.
  • Assists with yearly budget preparation.
  • Provides support for department administration.
  • Acts as a resource regarding organizational policies and procedures.
