Responsibilities
  • Greet and assist clients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Manage incoming phone calls and emails, ensuring excellent phone etiquette and directing calls and enquiries appropriately.
  • Taking bookings and payments for gliding courses, first flights, and for on-site accommodation.
  • Meeting people on arrival, guiding them in completing necessary paperwork, escorting them to the launch point on the flying field.
  • Routine checking of certain clubhouse facilities and systems eg fire alarm.
  • Perform clerical duties including data entry, filing, and maintaining office records.
  • Utilise Sage for basic accounting tasks and financial record keeping.
  • Organise and schedule meetings, and events as required.
  • Maintain an organised office environment by managing supplies and equipment.
  • Assist with the preparation of reports and documentation using Microsoft 365 applications.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient office operations.
  • Ensuring stationery, bar stock, merchandise etc are kept in stock.
  • And any other relevant duties as may arise.
