The Opportunity RS&H is currently seeking a Field Representative Trainee / Office Technician Trainee to join our Construction Management team in Novi, MI. This position may work in-office, remotely, or in a hybrid environment, depending on project needs. This is an entry-level role designed for individuals interested in beginning a career in construction or engineering administration. The Field Representative Trainee will observe and participate in the documentation of construction progress and provide administrative and technical support to project teams. Responsibilities The Field Representative Trainee will assist with: Reviewing construction documentation for compliance with contract requirements Producing reports and assisting with verifying quantity calculations and field measurements for payment purposes Preparing and processing routine construction contract changes Reviewing and managing contract documentation Tracking materials acceptance, project progress, final estimate processing, and EEO compliance Providing general administrative and quality support to construction project teams Performing other duties as assigned Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Strong organizational and attention-to-detail skills Proficiency with standard office and word processing software (Microsoft Office) Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently with general supervision and within a collaborative team environment Ability to sit, stand, bend, twist, or stoop for prolonged periods Ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds Preferred: Currently pursuing or recently completed coursework in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Engineering Technology, Business Administration, or a related field Prior internship or administrative experience in construction, engineering, or professional services #LI-KZ1 An Equal Opportunity Employer.
