Description
Reporting to the Quality & Compliance Coordinator, Active Ageing, the Admission & Review Officer will be the first point of contact for older adults seeking support through the Commonwealth Home Support Program. You’ll guide clients and their families through the admission process, coordinate assessments, and ensure services continue to align with their needs over time. Your work will help people live safely, comfortably, and independently in their own homes—and feel genuinely supported along the way. This is part-time (0.8 FTE) fixed-term contract ending 30 June 2027. Key Responsibilities: * Provide clear, friendly guidance to new clients entering the CHSP  * Conduct eligibility checks, gather documentation, and manage client onboarding  * Coordinate internal reviews and monitor client needs and service changes  * Maintain accurate records in line with CHSP reporting and compliance requirements  * Work collaboratively with service teams, assessors, and community partners  * Ensure a person centred approach grounded in dignity, respect, and choice   Position Description - Officer, Admission & Review [https://www.teatreegully.sa.gov.au/__data/assets/pdf_file/0029/1971281/Position-Description-Officer,-Admission-and-Review-Active-Ageing-Health-and-Recreation-Services-March-2026.pdf] About You:  * Experience in aged care, community services, or a related field * Strong communication and interpersonal skills * Attention to detail and confidence managing administrative processes * An understanding of CHSP guidelines * A commitment to person centred, strengths based practice   The successful candidate will:  * Be available 9.00am to 5.00pm, 4 days per week * Be available for occasional out of hours work * Have a current Working with Children Check  * Be willing to undergo a pre-employment medical assessment and police check  * Have a Current Drivers Licence ‘C’ class   Apply today!
