Job Purpose (Senior) Coordinator (Government Affairs) strengthens and maintains good relationship with government agencies and related stakeholders to support company’s operations. The jobholder is required to lead as government affairs subject matter expert by addressing risk concerns, presenting clear issues, and advocating strategic advice that must comply with Thai laws and regulation. He/she is required to keep frequent contacts with key government officials and  coordinate with internal departments and concerned parties to execute the work process in function of government affairs ensuring the requested approvals from government officials obtained as well as provide recommendation on PSC & related agreements to protect the company’s interests. He/she is also required to keep abreast of the direction and movement of government’s policies which may affect the company’s business and activities, and informs the movement to management for further actions.Key Accountabilities (1) Build up, strengthen and maintain good relationship and networking with government agencies to ensure fully support on company operations.   Identify, assess, prioritize and keep updates on any emerging government directions, policies, regulations, movements that may affect PTTEP’s business and operations, while keep management informed of progress and status of issues in timely manner.  Actively participate in commercial & financial, and technical meetings and coordinate with internal and external multi-disciplinary teams in order to provide appropriate guidance as well as supporting information in dealing with particular situation and potential challenges ensuring all required approvals from government obtained and business operation uninterrupted.  Provide advice, recommendation and assistance to management, in coordination with multi-disciplinary teams on negotiation strategies and commercial aspects of PSC and related agreements to ensure that the company interests are best protected and optimized. Key Accountabilities (2) Identify opportunities for PTTEP executives to engage high-level government official and manage the engagement.  Represent and coordinate with government relations including government protocol, response to inquiries of government agencies and support the execution of government affairs’ activities with an effectiveness and efficiency of the execution.  Update and maintain a database of government agencies and curriculum vitae of key government officials with accuracy and timeliness to support future collaboration with government agencies.  Monitor and ensure all activities are aligned with PSC and related agreements.  Professional Knowledge & Experiences Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Commercial, Finance & Accounting, Economics, Engineering or related fields  Knowledge in E&P with 5-10 years’ experience in business analysis, project planning in commercial discipline or related business  Excellent command of both written and spoken English (TOEIC Score Requirement: 650-750)  Broad knowledge of technical, economics, negotiations, and contract administration  Ability to think strategically & commercial mindset with good sensing of potential challenges  In-depth understanding and ability to forecast business environment & risk  Integrated knowledge across various disciplines in order to align future business needs, optimize corporate benefits and avoid mitigate corporate risks
