4. QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE+

The job holder will require, as a minimum:
4.1. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, Business Administration, or related field.
4.2. 3-5 years of experience in business excellence, quality management, or organizational improvement.
4.3. Familiarity with government excellence programs (e.g., EFQM, 4G) and quality frameworks.
4.4. Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
4.5. Proficient in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); experience with performance management tools is an advantage.

Responsibilities

1. DEPARTMENT PURPOSE

The Business Excellence Section at Fujairah International Airport drives a culture of continuous improvement and quality by implementing excellence models, leading assessments, and aligning with global standards. It promotes efficiency, innovation, and high performance to meet regulatory, customer, and stakeholder expectations.

3. PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

3.1. Assist in implementing business excellence models (e.g., EFQM, 4th Generation Government Excellence).
3.2. Coordinate internal self-assessments and external award submissions.
3.3. Support departments in identifying improvement areas and developing action plans.
3.4. Monitor implementation of improvement initiatives and track their impact.
3.5. Liaise with departments to collect and review quality-related documentation.
3.6. Maintain a centralized database of excellence assessments, audits, and feedback reports.
3.7. Assist in preparing reports, presentations, and documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
3.8. Coordinate training and awareness sessions on business excellence standards and practices.
3.9. Support benchmarking, innovation, and best practice identification initiatives.
3.10. Ensure compliance with internal policies, government excellence criteria, and international standards.
