Department: Office of the Dean of Engineering Job Posting Details The appointee will support the team of Communications, External Affairs & Development of the School of Engineering (SENG) for a wide range of general administrative work related to the School’s communications, marketing and promotions, event co-ordination, liaising with internal and external parties and general office operation supports. The appointee may be required to work outside normal office hours and on weekends occasionally. Applicants should possess a bachelor’s degree, preferably with 1-2 years of post-qualification work experience or an associate degree/ higher diploma’s holder with at least 3 years’ full time relevant work experience in tertiary institutions and/or communications team of a sizable organization. The ideal candidate should have a good command of spoken and written English and Chinese (including Putonghua); good interpersonal, organizational and communication skills; the ability to work independently and under pressure to meet tight deadlines; as well as an appropriate level of IT skills. The appointee should also be a good team player with the ability to multitask, and attentive to details. Good command of graphic design and video editing software will be an advantage. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written test and an interview. (Duration: 2 years, renewable) Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits including annual leave, medical and dental benefits will be provided. A gratuity will be payable upon successful completion of contract.
