This vacancy is only applicable for Bangladeshi nationals.   We are currently seeking an ambitious individual to join this team in the role of Officer, Foreign Exchange Regulations and Controls, Global Payments Solutions– Operations.   Principal Accountabilities   • Ensuring that the Service Level Agreement is meticulously maintained through completing tasks within deadlines. Service Tracker is to be thoroughly maintained, and any exceptions are to be communicated to the Manager. • Contribute to Overall Operating Efficiency by proper usage of iCATS. Minimization of operational errors and logging errors into iCATS. • Ensure all documents are checked in-line with local FX regulations by the Operators within the standard timeframe. • Ensure awareness of Group & Local Regulatory Policy, Internal & External Audit Findings and Guidance from Regulatory Compliance, regarding own area of operations. • Ensure a proper understanding of relevant sections of the BIM/FIM/GSM/DIM • Strictly Follow Information Security Policy. Ensure Information provided to Internal & External Parties confirms the guidance from the Information & Security Risk Team. • Protect confidential information by ensuring that workstations are locked and maintaining a clean desk policy while leaving the desk. All Cabinets & Drawers should be locked when not in use. • Ensure Proper Periodic reconciliation of GL Accounts and proper Signoff in Assurenet. Aging Items in the GL Accounts to be escalated to all necessary parties with proper actions plan for rectification. • Be Responsible for all Security Items in own areas of control. • Ensure timely & satisfactory response to Queries from Stakeholders. • Ensure proper & Timely Answer to Customer Feedback Monitoring System (CFMS). • Ensure Proper MI Generation for respective areas. • Ensure Timely Completion of Projects relevant to own area   Experience, Skills and Qualifications • Bachelor's degree from a public/private university preferably from Business background • Robust knowledge of AML, CTF, AB&C, Fraud Risks and Sanctions, and applications to the lines of Business  • Strong communication, interpersonal and time management skill    • Good command in MS Office packages, especially in MS Excel   • Knowledge on Central Bank’s guidelines/circulars, internal control requirements• Sound knowledge on Bangladesh bank policies relating GFET- 2018 guidelines and relevant circulars.• Expertise on Regulatory reporting of Cross Border transactions • Expertise on inward and outward remittance transactions processing as per local policy.• Sound knowledge and experience on Quarterly/Monthly Shipping/Airlines/Freight Forwarder document processing would be an advantage.• Experience in maintaining liaison with regulator and other banks to resolve queries and issues.
Responsibilities
Ensure compliance with local and group foreign exchange regulations while maintaining service level agreements and operational efficiency. Manage regulatory reporting for cross-border transactions and perform periodic reconciliation of GL accounts.
