Description

About the job

Position: Data Analyst Compensation: Competitive salary plus benefits & variableLocation: Dubai, United Arab Emirates

OverviewGateworth Group is supporting an education provider looking to hire a Data Analyst to strengthen their IT division. This role is ideal for someone who is analytical, curious, and able to turn complex data into meaningful insight that informs decision‑making, learning outcomes, and strategic direction.

You’ll work across research, pilot projects, and learner‑growth initiatives, building data systems that help leadership understand what’s working, what needs to evolve, and where innovation is having real impact. This is a role for someone who sees data as more than numbers, someone who can tell stories, surface patterns, and make evidence accessible to educators, families, and stakeholders.

Main Responsibilities• Build data systems that capture the right information at the right time, ensuring accuracy, ethical handling, and smooth flow across research and pilot initiatives.• Analyse varied datasets — from learner growth to project outcomes — and surface patterns that help leadership understand what’s working and where change is needed.• Turn raw data into clear narratives through dashboards, visualisations, and reports that educators, families, and decision‑makers can easily act on.• Work closely with researchers, educators, and project teams to embed data into planning, evaluation, and innovation cycles.• Support the assessment of new initiatives by designing baseline measures, tracking progress, and producing evidence‑based recommendations.• Continuously refine tools, methods, and processes to keep the organisation aligned with modern data practices and emerging insights.

Qualifications • 2+ years of hands‑on analytical experience, ideally within education, research, social impact, or innovation‑driven environments.• Strong capability with analytical tools — whether statistical languages, spreadsheet modelling, or research software.• Experience building dashboards or visual outputs using modern visualisation platforms.• Understanding of responsible data practices, including consent, privacy, and safeguarding.• Ability to translate complex findings into simple, meaningful insights for non‑technical audiences.• Strong organisational skills and comfort working across multiple projects and evolving datasets.• A degree in a data‑related or research‑focused field such as Data Science, Statistics, Education, Psychology, or similar.
